The State Duma proposed not to include weekends in the number of days of paid leave.

In Russia, weekends may no longer be included in the number of days of paid vacation. On November 17, the relevant bill was sent to the government of the Russian Federation by State Duma deputies from the Liberal Democratic Party, led by the faction leader Leonid Slutsky.

"The bill proposes not to include weekends in the number of calendar days of annual basic or annual additional paid leave," RIA Novosti quotes a fragment of an explanatory note.
