Mikhail Podolyak, adviser to the head of the office of the President of Ukraine, Vladimir Zelensky, said that corruption is an integral part of the economy in any state system. He said this in an interview with Strana on October 15.
"In both liberal democracies and authoritarian systems, such cases occur. Unfortunately, corruption is an integral part of the modern economy," Podolyak said.
The official added that in this case it is important how quickly the state reacts to this problem. According to him, Ukraine reacts "quickly and quite harshly."
