The Russian toll system for freight transport Platon celebrates its tenth anniversary on November 15.

"In 10 years, Platon has long ceased to be just a charging system: This is a telematics platform on the basis of which many services and government projects are implemented that help develop the transport infrastructure," commented Anton Zamkov, CEO of RT—Invest Transport Systems.

In addition, since 2022, the rating "Reliable Carrier of Russia" has been published on the Plato database and with the support of the Ministry of Transport, designed to stimulate fair competition and business transparency. Platon evaluates the level of reliability, compliance with legislation, transportation discipline and the sustainability of the companies' work. Both large logistics operators and individual entrepreneurs become participants in the rating.

During the awarding of the rating laureates in October this year, Renat Gainetdinov, Director of the Department of State Policy in the Field of Road Management at the Ministry of Transport of Russia, noted the effectiveness of the Platon system. According to him, the result of her ten-year work has been hundreds of repaired bridges and thousands of kilometers of restored roads.
