TOS-1A Solntsepek heavy flame-throwing systems are helping to advance the Russian Armed Forces in a special military operation in Ukraine. This was reported on November 13 by the American Military Watch Magazine.

"These machines (TOS-1A Solntsepek. — Ed.) continue to play a leading role in the advancement of Russian troops in the Ukrainian theater of military operations," the publication says.

The publication notes that the capabilities of the TOS-1A have expanded significantly over time: the weapon is equipped with a modern navigation system, which makes the strikes extremely accurate.

Uralvagonzavod Concern, which is part of the Russian Rostec state Corporation, handed over a batch of TOS-1A Solntsepek with additional drone protection to the Russian Armed Forces on November 13. Dmitry Semizorov, Deputy General Director for Special Equipment of the concern, noted that engineers and designers are constantly improving Solntsepek, increasing its efficiency in the face of emerging modern threats.
