Sobyanin spoke about the development of infrastructure in the TiNAO
Work continues on the creation of a powerful infrastructure in the territory of New Moscow. According to the Mayor of the capital, Sergei Sobyanin, it is planned to complete the construction of two new high-voltage substations this year, and the design of two high-voltage supply centers has begun.
"After the annexation of the new districts in 2012, an engineering framework was created from scratch, which provides comfort to hundreds of thousands of residents," the mayor wrote in the MACH messenger. Over the years, "tremendous work" has been done. In particular, dozens of substations, water intake units, sewage treatment plants, and heating plants were built or reconstructed in the TiNAO, as well as several hundred kilometers of gas pipelines, the mayor said. In addition, convenient routes to the metro were set up, streets were landscaped, obsolete facilities were decommissioned, which were replaced by modern ones, Sobyanin added.
In particular, a pedestrian route has been set up from the residential development to the Vnukovo Airport metro station, and work is underway to renovate the Central Park in the Vnukovo area.
This year, the reconstruction of the FIAN, Kievsky and Boarding House Pakhra water intake nodes will be carried out, construction and reconstruction of five CNS is underway, including Vatutinki-1, Krasnoe and Privolye.
"Over the past five years, 61 heat supply sources have been built, 32 have been reconstructed," Sobyanin wrote. "Since 2012, 24 water intake units have been upgraded, 11 wastewater treatment plants have been built and renovated."
In October, the mayor launched the construction of the left-hand transfer tunnel from Novomoskovskaya to the future Sosenki metro station. After completion, the line will stretch from ZIL station to Troitsk, combining 17 stations and more than 43 km of tracks.
The new southern section of the Troitskaya metro line, about 17 km long, will connect Kommunarka and Troitsk in 2029. Sobyanin recalled that six new stations will be opened: Sosenki, Rakitki, Desna, Kedrovaya, Vatutinki and Troitsk.
This branch line will become the largest radius beyond the MKAD and the basis of the TiNAO transport framework. The new line "will significantly reduce the load on the southern sections of the metro and provide new routes for 2 million people," the mayor said.
