On November 13, French President Emmanuel Macron, at a meeting with readers of the newspaper Dépêche in Toulouse, accused Russia of spreading fakes about the invasion of bed bugs in France.
"Russia is using it (spreading fakes — Ed.). As an example, we can cite the situation with bed bugs. <...> There really was a problem with bedbugs, <...> but it became the main topic in the country for several weeks," RIA Novosti quoted him as saying.
