The Russian government has expanded the list of military personnel eligible for compensation payments instead of retirement pensions. This was announced on November 13 by the press service of the Government of the Russian Federation.

"Military personnel under the contract who performed tasks to repel armed invasion and provocations in the territories of the regions adjacent to the zone of the special military operation will receive a monthly compensation payment in the amount of 100% of their retirement pension," the Telegram channel said.
