A pensioner was injured in an explosion of a dichlorvos cylinder in the Krasnoyarsk Territory.

In the city of Achinsk, Krasnoyarsk Territory, a 71-year-old woman died as a result of the explosion of a balloon with an insect baiting substance. This was reported to Izvestia on November 13 by the Investigative Committee of the region.

It is noted that the explosion of a 600 ml cylinder occurred the day before, on November 12, in a five-story building. The incident occurred as a result of the victim's careless smoking.

"As a result of the incident, the 72-year-old landlady of the apartment was injured, who was unconscious and hospitalized with burns to the Achinskaya MRB KGB. There are no other victims," the Prosecutor's Office of the Krasnoyarsk Territory said in its Telegram channel.

According to the ministry, windows were blown out and a wall was destroyed in the explosion.

Earlier, on November 10, five people were injured in a gas explosion while cooking in one of the Naberezhnye Chelny garage cooperatives. According to the regional Department of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, the victims independently sought medical help. One person is in serious condition with a head injury, four are in moderate condition, they have been diagnosed with burns.
