The season for replacing summer tires with winter tires started earlier this year — snow fell in early October in most of Russia. Motorists in the Far Eastern, Volga, Northwestern, Siberian and Ural districts went for tire repairs earlier than usual. Fit Service experts told about this on Wednesday, November 12.

Analysts of the car service network analyzed the demand, the cost of tire repair and the volume of work on off-season re-fitting this fall in Russia.

They told the Auto Mail project that the number of visits to the network's tire installations increased by 26% in September compared to last year, and by 10% in October. It is noted that at the same time as changing tires, motorists began to order related repairs and maintenance of cars more often. The volume of additional services increased by 11% in October.

At the same time, the average tire bill amounted to 7,160 rubles in October, which is 9% higher than a year earlier.
