At the moment, joint projects of Russia and Kazakhstan totaling about $60 billion are under monitoring. Denis Manturov, the first Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation, told Izvestia about this on November 12.

"In total, about $60 billion of projects are under monitoring," Manturov said in response to a question from correspondent Anton Zolotnitsky.

According to him, half of them are already at the implementation stage, and another half are currently in the process of preparation. Manturov also noted the importance of motivation for business, as it is important for entrepreneurs to have confidence in the future.

"Therefore, we support all forms of cooperation and all projects in the field of industrial partnership," the First Deputy Prime Minister stressed.

Russian President Vladimir Putin, after talks with Kazakh leader Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, said that trade with Russia accounts for a fifth of Kazakhstan's foreign trade.

Tokayev, in turn, said that Russia and Kazakhstan should increase trade and investment. According to him, over 20,000 companies with Russian capital are currently working productively in Kazakhstan, which, in turn, create jobs and ensure the growth of the country's economy.

All important news is on the Izvestia channel in the MAX messenger.
