A section of the road will be repaired on the Tula–Novomoskovsk highway

The Tula–Novomoskovsk highway is being repaired in the Tula region. The road in the Uzlovsky district is being put in order.

The work is carried out as part of the road maintenance program. Now workers are cutting off the surface asphalt concrete layer, TSN24 writes with reference to the regional Ministry of Transport and Road Management. The work is performed by Tulaavtodor.

At the end of October, it was reported that a comprehensive reconstruction of the Kaluga Highway would be carried out in Tula. Such plans were announced by Governor Dmitry Milyaev during an expanded meeting of the Committee on Economic Policy. The cost of the work is estimated at 13.6 billion rubles. The highway is a key transport artery that connects the regional center with the suburbs, neighboring districts, federal highways M-2 "Crimea" and R-132 "Golden Ring". It also houses the cancer center and Tula Arena.
