The Runet 2025 Award ceremony will be held at the Pashkov House on December 14.

On December 14, one of the most anticipated IT events of the year will take place at the Pashkov House - the presentation of the 2025 Runet Prize.

The award has been held by the Association for Electronic Communications (RAEC) for 22 consecutive years and is aimed at encouraging IT industry leaders.
for significant contribution to the development of domestic technologies and improving the welfare of society. Organizations, IT solutions and projects that contribute to the development of the Russian segment of the Internet will be able to participate in the competitive selection. Applications are open on the Award's official website until November 20, 2025.

This year's Award theme is "Code of Dreams".

"Great achievements begin with a big dream and the right foundation, a code. The IT community is the architect of the future, and our cutting-edge projects are proof that any dream can be realized," says Dmitry Gulyaev, Director of the RAEC.

As part of the updated Award, new business nominations will appear that correspond to modern trends and challenges of digital transformation, such as: "Russian Code", "E-commerce", "Creative Industries", "Journalistic project in IT", "Blogger project in IT", "Cloud Solution of the Year", "Digital Heritage" and others.

This year, much attention will be paid to child safety on the Internet. A separate track is the Children in Runet Award, established by the Alliance for the Protection of Children in the Digital Environment. This is the first large-scale track in Russia dedicated to creating a safe digital space for children and youth. Its goal is to join forces to promote positive changes in the online environment.

The award will nominate projects by children, parents and teachers who contribute to improving the level of digital literacy and countering the challenges of the Runet.

In addition, as part of the Runet Award, the .RU/ Domain Coordination Center.The Russian Federation has established a special nomination "Internet in the native language", dedicated to the 15th anniversary of the national Cyrillic domain.RF. In 2025 , in the zone .The Russian Federation has the opportunity to register domain names using the symbols of the 17 official languages of the republics of Russia – a step that opens up new horizons for the development of a multilingual Internet. Projects that contribute to the preservation and development of the languages of the peoples of Russia in the digital space, make the Internet closer and more accessible to everyone, create content in national languages and strengthen the cultural diversity of our country are invited to participate in the nomination.

For the first time in the history of the Award, an IT ball with a live orchestra and professional artists will be held. The organizers of the Award decided to support the tradition of holding Russian balls by adding elements of digital technology.

An exhibition and a charity auction of paintings based on the business sessions of the Russian Internet Forum 2025 will also take place on the sidelines of the award ceremony. Award participants will be able to purchase their favorite works. The proceeds from the sale will be used to develop talented young people in IT.

The event will also include the launch of a Women's Club and a press conference of the RAEC.
