Lithuania will once again appeal to Belarus to allow Lithuanian trucks stuck in the country to cross the border after Vilnius decided to unilaterally close the border on October 29. Vilmantas Vitkauskas, Chairman of the National Crisis Management Center, told reporters on November 10.

"It was decided to re—appeal to Belarus at the level of high authorities — at the level of border commissioners," TASS quoted him as saying.

It is specified that we are talking about the opening of two checkpoints for the evacuation corridor, which will operate both towards Lithuania and towards Belarus.
