Russia is ready to discuss issues that may be of concern to Armenia in its bilateral relations with Moscow. This was announced on November 10 by the official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry, Maria Zakharova.

"We are ready to discuss the possible concerns of our Armenian colleagues both through the parliamentary line and within the framework of the consultations we have proposed between relevant departments, including, if necessary, in order to correct the information background around Russian—Armenian relations," she said, Zakharova's comment was published on the website of the Russian Foreign Ministry.

The diplomat added that statements about the alleged "hybrid war" with Armenia are being made at a time when supporters of strengthening ties with Russia are being persecuted. Zakharova stressed that the concept of "hybrid wars" was developed and applied by Western countries, citing the recent anti-government protests in Georgia as an example.

The official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry also recalled that Russia remains a reliable ally of Armenia, having provided assistance in the aftermath of the 2024 flood and organized wheat supplies via a new railway route.

In conclusion, Zakharova noted that Russia is guided by the sovereign interests of the South Caucasus countries, unlike Western mediators, whose efforts have yet to "pass the test of time."
