The Government of the Russian Federation has approved the introduction of technological fees for certain categories of electronic products in order to protect the domestic industry. This was reported on November 9 by the newspaper Vedomosti, citing sources.
It is specified that the funds from the collection will go to support Russian radio electronics and macroelectronics. Importers and domestic producers will be the payers. The rate for each product will be determined separately and will not exceed 5,000 rubles.
