Serbian tennis player Novak Djokovic has won the final of the Association of Tennis Professionals (ATP) tournament in Athens, beating Italian Lorenzo Musetti with a score of 4:6, 6:3, 7:5. The meeting took place on November 8th.
Thus, Djokovic, seeded at number one, won his 101st trophy in his career. He holds the third highest number of titles in the Open era, behind American Jimmy Connors (109 titles) and Swiss Roger Federer (103 titles).
Djokovic is 38 years old and ranks fifth in the world rankings. He has 24 Grand Slam titles to his credit, which is a record among men in singles. He also won the 2024 Olympic Games, the 2008 Olympic bronze medal and the 2010 Davis Cup title. The Serb set an absolute record for the number of weeks (428) spent at the top of the world ranking.
