Dynamo lost to SKA and broke a six-match winning streak in the KHL
Dynamo Moscow lost to SKA St. Petersburg in the home match of the regular season of the Kontinental Hockey League (KHL). The meeting, which took place in Moscow on Saturday, November 8, ended with the victory of the guests with the score 3:2 (0:1, 2:0, 1:1).
Joseph Blandisi scored for the winners (23rd minute), Marat Khairullin (31st) and Trevor Murphy (58th). Jordan Weale (7) and Dylan Sikura (45) scored goals for the Blue and White team.
For Dynamo head coach Alexei Kudashov, this game was the 650th in the KHL.
Dynamo broke a six-match winning streak and with 31 points secured the fifth position in the Western Conference table, where SKA is in ninth place with 24 points. In the next match on November 10, Muscovites will host the Chinese club Shanghai Dragons, and St. Petersburg will play against Omsk Avangard.
In another match, Tolyatti's Lada defeated Dinamo Minsk with a score of 1:0 (1:0, 0:0, 0:0).
Earlier, on November 2, Lokomotiv scored a crushing victory over Ufa's Salavat Yulaev in a KHL match with a score of 4:1. In the next round, Lokomotiv will host Spartak Moscow on November 6, and Salavat Yulaev will play Barys Astana on November 5.
