The Kremlin pointed to the damage to world trade due to US sanctions against Lukoil
The restrictions imposed on the Russian oil company Lukoil harm the global trade regime. This was announced on November 7 by Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov.
"We believe that all the legitimate interests of such a large international company, including a Russian one, as Lukoil, in terms of the rules of international trade and economic relations, must be respected," the press secretary of the head of state said at a briefing.
He noted that violations in this area are unacceptable.
"They harm the global trade regime. This is (Lukoil. — ed.) is a very big player in the global market," Peskov added.
