The analyst revealed the sales results of Lada Iskra
In October, 637 Lada Iskra vehicles were registered in Russia. A total of 765 copies of the latest VAZ model have been registered since the start of sales. Sergey Tselikov, director of the Autostat analytical agency, told about this in his Telegram channel on November 7.
More than three quarters of Iskra cars sold (76%) are owned by individuals, he said.
"For the first three months of Iskra registration, it was measured piece by piece. So October can be considered the first full—fledged month of sales," said Tselikov.
Sales of the Tolyatti-made Lada Iskra started on July 20. The Iskra sedan costs from 1.25 million rubles in the basic configuration with a manual transmission. The most expensive modification of the model, the raised SW Cross station wagon in the maximum configuration with a CVT, was estimated at 1.8 million rubles.
In September, mass production of Lada Iskra cars started at the Avtozavod Saint Petersburg production site, where Nissan and Xcite cars were previously produced.
On October 1, AvtoVAZ announced that during the pre-production process, Lada Iskra had tested cars for the first time on a new stand simulating the effects of solar radiation. A special camera simulates six years of operation in the southern regions with the machine being stored in open areas.
