Chernyshenko spoke about the help of digital sports in the rehabilitation of ITS fighters

Russia is a leader in the field of digital sports, and its development does not stand still. This type of activity helps in the rehabilitation of wounded participants in a special military operation and has a positive effect on children's development. This belief was shared on November 6 by Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Chernyshenko, answering a question from Izvestia.

"We see the effect of using these technologies, confirmed by doctors and rehabilitologists, for the recovery and adaptation of our wounded soldiers," he said.

Chernyshenko added that digital sports gave "a taste" of real competitions to children who had never looked up from computer games before and spent their leisure time on smartphones.

"So this format, which President [of Russia Vladimir Putin] gave to the world, is working," the Deputy Prime Minister stressed.

The head of the Ministry of Education of the Russian Federation, Sergei Kravtsov, said earlier in the day that the agency was analyzing the practice of physical education lessons with the discipline of digital sports, which are still new to Russian schools. Kravtsov stressed that the main task of such a discipline is to make the lesson on digital sports as interesting as possible.
