Hanover International Airport temporarily did not receive or release aircraft on the evening of November 5 due to an unknown unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) spotted in the airspace. This was reported on November 6 by the newspaper Die Rheinpfalz, citing an unnamed representative of the Federal Police.

"Due to a drone near Hanover Airport, flights there were temporarily suspended in the evening (November 5. — Ed.). The airport was closed from 22:00 to 22:45 (from 00:00 to 00:45 Moscow time on November 6. — Ed.)," the publication says.

The flight of the drone, which caused three planes to be redirected to other airfields, was recorded near one of the administrative buildings.

On November 2, the BR24 edition reported on the temporary closure of the German city of Bremen airport due to a drone. Then the take-off and landing operations were suspended for about an hour. It was noted that one of the aircraft that returned from London was redirected to Hamburg, and another, which was supposed to take off for the British capital, could not do so according to schedule.
