Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said on November 6 that Russian President Vladimir Putin had not yet decided when he would announce the message to the Federal Assembly.

"It depends on the president's decision. The head of state chooses the time himself, which, from his point of view, best meets the needs," Peskov said in an interview with the Vedomosti newspaper.

He also said that a large press conference, combined with a direct line from the president, is scheduled for mid-December.

On November 4, the Kremlin's official representative announced that the collection of Russians' questions for a direct line with Putin would begin in two weeks and would be carried out using artificial intelligence. According to him, this will help to bring "the entire cross-section of the social world" to Putin as quickly as possible.

The day before, Peskov said that preparations for a direct line with the Russian president had begun and were in full swing. He noted that the organization of the event is a complex process that requires significant preparation.
