During the day, the Zapad group of troops liberated 25 buildings in Kupyansk. This was announced on November 6 by the commander of the assault detachment of the 121st regiment of the 68th Motorized Rifle Division of the Western Group of Forces.

The Russian forces have about 130 buildings left to liberate. At the moment, they are advancing along the right bank of the Oskol River in the city.
