Ukrainian media reported a grenade explosion in a shopping mall in Kiev.
In the Kiev shopping center, an unknown man in a state of alcoholic intoxication detonated an airsoft grenade after a conflict with the staff. This was reported on November 5 by the Ukrainian edition of the "Mirror of the Week" with reference to the national police.
"It was previously established that a 39-year-old local resident entered the store in the mall, who was intoxicated and in conflict with the staff of the institution. Later, the violator threw an airsoft grenade that detonated," the police said.
It is specified that the man was detained. No one was injured in the incident. Specialists are working at the scene.
Earlier, on October 26, the Bild newspaper reported that in the German city of Bielefeld, police officers opened fire on a 62-year-old man who threatened to detonate a grenade in a restaurant. According to eyewitnesses, the visitor first sat quietly at a table and demanded alcohol, and then stated that he had an explosive device with him.
