Junior Sergeant Volov successfully suppressed seven FPV drones of the Armed Forces of Ukraine

During the special military operation, Junior Sergeant Vadim Volov, being the senior operator of the electronic warfare (EW) company, successfully completed the task of suppressing unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) The Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU). This was announced on November 4 by the Russian Defense Ministry.

On the eve of the offensive of Russian troops in a key area, he organized the covert delivery and installation of a radio suppression system. Despite the enemy artillery fire, under his leadership, the crew ensured the smooth operation of the equipment, which led to the neutralization of seven enemy FPV drones. This allowed the advancing unit to successfully storm enemy positions. Volov's bold and professional actions in the field of electronic warfare contributed to the advance of Russian troops.

The Russian Defense Ministry also noted the decisive actions of Junior Sergeant Denis Frolov, who is part of the mine clearance group. The sergeant successfully coped with the combat task of creating passages in the mine-explosive barriers of the enemy.

The group under his command secretly reached the goal and began to work. Frolov personally defused several antipersonnel mines, ensuring the safe advance of the Russian units. While preparing to withdraw, he discovered an approaching enemy FPV drone aimed at one of the fighters. Immediately assessing the threat, the Russian soldier took an advantageous position and, with well-aimed shots from his personal weapon, destroyed the enemy drone, which detonated in the air without causing harm. Thanks to the professionalism and efficiency of Junior Sergeant Frolov, the sapper group completed the task, which allowed the Russian troops to continue the offensive.

Chemezov reported to Putin on the possibility of detecting inconspicuous targets and suppressing previously invulnerable drones.

On November 3, the Russian Defense Ministry reported that the Russian military had been able to dislodge the Ukrainian Armed Forces from four fortified positions on the left bank of the Oskov River during urban fighting. It was clarified that, in addition, an American M113 armored personnel carrier, a Novator armored car, a Romanian-made APR-40 multiple rocket launcher, two mortars and seven vehicles were destroyed.
