On October 31, Telegram messenger launched a new opportunity for Russian users to log in to their account with email address confirmation.

Now you can add an email in the Privacy section. When trying to log in on another device, the user will be able to verify their identity by entering the code they received by email. The new feature is available on all platforms — iOS, Android and PC.

Users can log into Telegram using not only a QR code or phone number, but also an email address.

Earlier, on October 29, Telegram founder Pavel Durov announced the launch of a decentralized Cocoon network based on artificial intelligence and the TON blockchain.
