Unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) attacking critical infrastructure in Russia reach their targets in less than one percent of cases. This was announced on October 28 by the Secretary of the Russian Security Council, Sergei Shoigu, during a meeting on the protection of critical facilities.

"Speaking in percentage terms, less than 1% of drones fly, but less than 1% is also an achievement," TASS quoted him as saying.

According to Shoigu, Russian oil and gas companies are taking measures to protect energy facilities. For example, the installation of mobile air defense (air defense) firing groups, which are designed to destroy UAVs.

On October 12, the Financial Times newspaper reported that the United States had been helping Kiev for several months in attacking Russian energy facilities. The publication claims that these actions are "coordinated efforts" aimed at undermining the Russian economy and putting pressure on Moscow. According to sources, the intelligence provided by Washington allowed Ukraine to strike at key energy infrastructure facilities, including oil refineries deep in the rear.

On October 15, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said that Russia had asked the United States to explain the rumors about providing intelligence to Kiev. When asked if the United States had responded to the request, Lavrov noted that only "a couple of days have passed since the publication."
