The Kremlin failed to assess the chances of a negotiation process after the latest data from the Foreign Intelligence Service (SVR) of the Russian Federation, according to which the General Staff of the Armed Forces of France is preparing to deploy a military contingent in Ukraine. This was announced on October 28 by Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov.

"We can't assess it yet. The pause was caused by the Kiev regime's unwillingness to resume the negotiation process. As for the information from the SVR, it is alarming," he said.
