White House press Secretary Carolyn Leavitt said on October 23 that Indian oil refineries had allegedly reduced the number of purchases of Russian oil.

"We know that India did the same at the request of the President [of the United States Donald Trump] (reduced oil purchases from Russia. — Ed.)," she said during a briefing at the White House.
