- North Caucasus Federal District volunteers have sent more than 400 tons of humanitarian cargo to their zone.
In the North-Western Administrative District (NWAO) of the capital, another campaign to collect humanitarian aid for participants in a special military operation (SVO) has ended. Since the beginning of the year, residents and volunteers of the North Caucasus Federal District have shipped more than 400 tons of humanitarian cargo, the organizers said.
In particular, generators, heaters, warm knitted clothes, sleeping bags, as well as handmade trench candles, camouflage nets and bandages were sent to the soldiers. Previously, the volunteers must check the quality of products and things, control the packing and packaging so that everything reaches the recipients in complete safety.
Public advisers, representatives of municipal districts and concerned residents of the North Caucasus Federal District joined the organization of the shipment. Such joint work helps to quickly form parcels and transfer them to the fighters as soon as possible, the organizers noted.
Muscovites actively help in the collection, packaging and transportation of humanitarian parcels. Work is underway at several sites. Everyone can contribute to the common cause. In addition, there are a number of charitable organizations in the NWAO that provide support to the families of ITS participants. Among them are the foundation "Everyone is Important" in Strogino and the Vesta-Help Foundation in Shchukin. Local community activists are also joining the initiative.
Earlier, Moscow volunteers delivered more than 9 tons of humanitarian cargo to Mariupol. Charity events were held as part of the autumn season of the volunteer project "Time for Good", the collected cargo is intended for both residents and social institutions of the city.
