For garbage thrown out of the car, the driver may face a fine of up to 15 thousand rubles, and if trucks dump waste in the wrong place, the fine may reach 200 thousand rubles with possible confiscation of the vehicle. This was announced on October 15 by Sergey Kolunov, Deputy chairman of the State Duma Committee on Construction and Housing and Communal Services.

"Unauthorized unloading and dumping of garbage from vehicles and trailers is subject to administrative liability under Article 8.2 of the Administrative Code. An individual who throws garbage in the wrong place faces a fine of 10 to 15 thousand rubles, an official — from 20 to 30 thousand rubles, a legal entity — from 30 to 50 thousand rubles," he told TASS.

The deputy also recalled the double fine for a repeat offense.
