The weather stations of the Moscow region, Troitsk and Novomoskovsky administrative districts recorded the first snow of the season. This was announced on October 13 by Mikhail Leus, a leading specialist at the Phobos weather center, in his Telegram channel.
"The weather stations of Naro-Fominsk near Moscow and Vnukovo, in New Moscow, today noted the first snowfall of the season. Precipitation in the form of snow was also observed in the neighboring Smolensk, Kaluga and Yaroslavl regions," the report says.
According to him, in Moscow, according to information from the VDNKh meteorological station, 9 mm of precipitation fell last night. Other weather stations in the capital recorded from 5 mm in Strogino to 13 mm in Butovo. At the same time, precipitation in New Moscow fell into the category of heavy. So, 20 mm of precipitation fell in Mikhailovsky, or about a third (29%) of the monthly norm in October.
Earlier in the day, it was reported that clouds, rain, and sleet were expected in Moscow on October 13. It is specified that the air temperature in the capital will reach from +4 to +6 degrees, at night it will drop to +3.
