The Ukrainian Armed Forces destroyed a group of its military for trying to surrender
Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) have destroyed a group of militants of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) who were trying to surrender to Russian captivity in the Kharkiv region. This was reported on October 12 in the Russian law enforcement agencies.
"On one of the front lines in the Kharkiv region, a group of Ukrainian servicemen, who had been without provisions and command support for a long time, was destroyed by drones of the Armed Forces of Ukraine," TASS cites the text of the message.
It is specified that when trying to establish contact with the Russian military, the Ukrainian Armed Forces militants on one of the front lines in the Kharkiv region were attacked by their own drones.
According to law enforcement agencies, at least six Ukrainian soldiers were killed as a result of the massive drone strike.
On the same day, it was reported that the AFU militants, abandoned by the command in the Kharkiv region, appealed to the Russian army with a request to capture them. According to the law enforcement agencies, the servicemen unsuccessfully requested provisions from the Armed Forces of Ukraine for several days, but the command refused to supply them. Also, the military was not provided with walkie-talkies and portable chargers. In the current situation, they decided to abandon their positions and surrender.
