A father and son were injured in a fire in an apartment building in the village of Maksimovshchina, Irkutsk region. This was reported on October 12 in the Telegram channel of the Ministry of Emergency Situations in the region.

According to the owner of the house, she woke up with difficulty breathing, and at that time the fire had already engulfed the second floor, where there was a 10-year-old boy. The woman woke her husband up and, going outside with her youngest daughter, called him to help her son. The man went upstairs, and together with the child they evacuated through the window. Both suffered thermal burns and carbon monoxide poisoning, and were hospitalized.

By the time the first unit arrived, the fire had completely engulfed the house. The flames spread to a nearby car and the exterior wall of the house.

It is noted that the open gorenje on the area of 90 sq. m. was eliminated by 15 firefighters with the help of five pieces of equipment. Presumably, the cause of the fire was a short circuit in the electrical wiring.

On October 11, a fire was reported in an apartment building in Sosnovoborsk, Krasnoyarsk Territory. The Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Russian Federation reported that the flame was localized on an area of 2 thousand square meters. m. Later it was reported that the fire had been eliminated. One person was killed in the incident. Later, the head of the city, Alexei Kudryavtsev, clarified that the number of victims of the fire had increased to five.
