Russia calls on the United States to immediately stop the escalation against Venezuela, strongly condemning the American attacks on the ships of the republic. This was announced on October 10 by the Permanent Representative of the Russian Federation to the UN Vasily Nebenzya.

"Washington needs to immediately stop the escalation under far—fetched pretexts and not make an irreparable mistake that would become a military action against Venezuela," he said during his speech at an urgent briefing of the UN Security Council (SC).
