Gymnasts of "Heavenly Grace" won all the gold at the Games of the CIS countries

What makes rhythmic gymnastics so popular in the world is here, at the III CIS Games in Azerbaijan. In the Olympic complex of the city of Shaki, not only the strongest gymnasts from the sports family of the post-Soviet countries, but also representatives of Cuba and Turkey, the competition is the highest.
This is not the first time that the International Association "Heavenly Grace" has represented its team on the world stage. Currently, the team consists of athletes from Russia, Belarus, Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan and the Island of Freedom. The Association gave gymnasts from different countries an additional opportunity to compete at the tournament. It is important that even though the athletes represented the association, they performed under their own flags, and the gymnasts are very grateful to the association.
Russian gymnasts were selected for the Games by rating. Thanks to the association, there are more of our athletes. For example, Russians Eva Chevtaeva and Nicole Rimarachin Diaz, as well as the national youth team, were able to take part in the competitions. And it wasn't just our country that had such an important and necessary opportunity.
"There are a lot of girls here who are strong competitors. I am very grateful to Heavenly Grace for giving me the opportunity to compete in such big competitions," said Komila Yusupova, a gymnast from the Heavenly Grace International Association.

Such success of the Russian gymnasts is the merit of the head coach of the Russian national team, Tatyana Sergayeva, and the entire coaching staff of the national team, who are now accepting congratulations. Sofia Ilteryakova became the first in exercises with a ball and a hoop, and also won in the most difficult Olympic discipline — all-around.
"There is no limit to perfection. We will work even harder," Russian national team gymnast Sofia Ilteryakova assured.
Russian Eva Chevtaeva from Heavenly Grace is the third in the all-around in total points, but she did not rise to the podium, these are the regulations. There is only one representative from the country on the podium, but it has two gold medals in separate disciplines at once — in exercises with a ball and with clubs.
"I went out thinking that everything would work out, I tried to calm myself down so as not to worry," said gymnast Eva Chevtaeva.
Eva was trained for the CIS Games by Oksana Skaldina, Honored coach of Russia, Olympic medalist in 1992, multiple world and European champion.

Honed movements, elegance — Karolina Tarasova's performance delighted the audience. But it is with this pupil of the Heavenly Grace Academy, Alina Kabayeva, that perhaps the most dramatic episode of the competition is connected. Having performed brilliantly in qualifying, Karolina withdrew from the second and third days of the competition, fell ill, but still helped the team win.
Karolina received high scores in the all-around for her ball practice, and her result was included in the team championship standings. Alina Kabayeva helps the students of the Heavenly Grace Academy to prepare for all the starts. As an athlete, she knows exactly what words to use to support athletes.
This time Laura Acosta from Mexico joined the coaching team of Heavenly Grace as a consultant. She was a judge from an international association.
"I'm very happy to be here because it's a new experience. Of course, I liked the hoop in the junior group from the performances. As for the girls, I like Caroline's self—expression and artistry," explained coach, judge Laura Acosta.
At the third CIS Games, there were no equals to Russian group games. The gap from the competitors is very large, each number has a clean choreographic pattern and a high level of artistry, to music that seems to have the whole Russian soul.
"We tried to show what we had been working on for so long, we trained, we showed our maximum," said Sofya Lobova, a gymnast of the Russian national team in group exercises.
All the gymnasts of the national team and those who represented Russia from the International Association "Heavenly Grace" coped with this task perfectly. The rest after the III CIS Games will not be long at all, new starts are ahead. Following the results of the competition, the association thanked the organizers of the competition.
