Serdar Berdimuhamedov congratulates Vladimir Putin on his birthday
On October 7, President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov sent birthday greetings to Russian President Vladimir Putin.
"We intend to further expand the time-tested political, trade, economic, cultural and humanitarian ties between our countries," the Neutral Turkmenistan newspaper quoted him as saying.
According to the newspaper, Berdimuhamedov in his congratulation noted Putin's personal attention and huge contribution to the development of strategic and friendly relations between the two states, and also highly appreciated the current level of comprehensive cooperation between Ashgabat and Moscow.
The KCNA news agency reported on September 7 that North Korean leader Kim Jong-un congratulated Vladimir Putin on his birthday, saying that there was "eternal friendship" between the countries, and also expressed hope for further productive cooperation.
