In Moscow, the court arrested three accomplices of Suleymanov in the case of contract killings.

Three accomplices of businessman Ibrahim Suleymanov, who is accused of organizing contract killings, detained in Dagestan, were arrested by the Basmanny Court of Moscow. This was reported on October 7 by Russian law enforcement agencies.

"The court granted the request of the preliminary investigation authorities to detain three detainees transferred to Moscow from Dagestan," TASS quoted a statement from a law enforcement official.

It is specified that the arrested did not admit guilt. They were charged with attempted murder.

Earlier, on October 6, it was reported that at least three accomplices of businessman Ibrahim Suleymanov were detained in Dagestan as part of a criminal case on organizing murders. They are considered to be involved in the murder of 2021.

On October 3, a source from Izvestia reported that Ibragim Suleymanov had been detained on suspicion of organizing the murder of Georgy Tal in 2004. According to the source, Suleymanov already has a criminal record. It is noted that in 2007, the billionaire and his partner Tatevos Surinov were charged under Parts 1 and 4 of art. 159 of the Criminal Code ("Fraud") and under art. 174 of the Criminal Code ("Money laundering"). Later, the investigation requested Suleymanov's detention. The court granted this request and arrested the billionaire.

In addition, another person involved in the criminal case, Mukhamed Darbishev, went under arrest. He was imprisoned for two months.
