It is noted that the areas where smoldering was observed were covered with soil throughout the night from Monday, October 6, to Tuesday, October 7. This process is expected to take several more days.

Three bulldozers and dump trucks provided by the PEO, 20 contractor dump trucks, two fire brigades and one excavator and a front loader are currently involved in the elimination of the consequences of the fire.

The Main Directorate (GU) of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Russian Federation for the Primorsky Territory reported a fire at a solid waste plant in Vladivostok on October 6. The ministry clarified that the specialists who arrived at the scene found several fires at once, one of which had an area of 10 square meters. m.
