Roof repairs have begun in school building No. 2 in Lobnya, Moscow region. This was announced by the press service of the regional Ministry of the construction complex on Monday, October 6.

"Major repairs are continuing. The contractor has half completed the dismantling work and started repairing the roof," the report says.

The overhaul of the school at 1a Festivalnaya Street started this September. The contractor is RSPK LLC.

The project provides for renovation of the roof, facade and entrance area, replacement of utilities, windows and doors. The school will also renovate the interior, install new furniture and equipment. Work will also take place in the surrounding area.

The area of the facility is about 6.5 thousand square meters, according to the online publication Podmoskovye Segodnya. The update is scheduled to be completed by September 1, 2026.
