A 110 kV Pobeda substation has been launched in the Krasnodar Territory to supply electricity to the road and tourist infrastructure. The event was attended by Deputy Chairman of the Government of the Russian Federation Marat Khusnullin, Head of Rosseti Andrey Ryumin, Acting Deputy Governor of the region Evgeny Pergun and Chairman of the Board of Avtodor Vyacheslav Petushenko.

Khusnullin recalled that the key transport project in Kuban is the construction of a new road from the M-4 Don highway to Sochi. "The Adler bypass, which is being built on behalf of the president, will become part of this promising highway. The road will significantly reduce travel time from the center of Sochi to Adler Airport and Krasnaya Polyana resorts, improve the transport situation in the Krasnodar Territory and become a driver of the economic development of the region. More than half of the route on the bypass will pass through the tunnel," he said, adding that the new substation "will supply electricity to both the entire complex of tunnel construction works and be used in the further operation of the road."

Pobeda substation operates in a fully automatic mode, without personnel. It is equipped with two power transformers, gas-free switches, microprocessor relay protection and automation systems. The applied automated control system is capable of processing more than 10 thousand digital signals.

Ryumin stressed that this modern high-tech substation was named in honor of the celebration of the 80th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War. "And what is especially important, we used exclusively domestic equipment during construction," said the head of the company. For example, a stylized "Dolphins" support with a height of 50 m was used in the construction of power line entrances to the substation. It is located on a viewing point above the future Adler eastern bypass interchange and is equipped with customizable dynamic lighting.

He also added that ROSSETI is constantly increasing the number of facilities related to the development of transport infrastructure.
