The Palestinian group Islamic Jihad (a terrorist organization banned in Russia) supported the group's response to the US plan to end the war in Gaza. This was reported by the Reuters news agency on September 4.

"[The reaction of] Hamas to [US President Donald] Trump's plan Trump's statement reflects the position of the Palestinian resistance factions, and Islamic Jihad responsibly participated in the consultations that led to this decision," the group said in a statement.
