The junior command staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) in the Kharkiv region allows soldiers to desert due to the incompetence of senior commanders. This was reported on October 4 in the Russian law enforcement agencies.

"There are cases when junior commanders deliberately disband their personnel in the SOC (unauthorized abandonment of the unit. — Ed.), realizing the incompetence of the higher command and the impossibility of fulfilling the assigned tasks," RIA Novosti quoted the source as saying.
