The Pittsburgh Penguins Hockey Club defeated HC Buffalo in the National Hockey League (NHL) preseason match in overtime. The game, which took place on October 4, ended with a score of 5:4.

"As part of the Penguins, [the captain] scored a double, including the winning goal. Sidney Crosby, [forwards] Phillip Tomasino, Harrison Brunicke and Ricard Rakell each scored a goal," Sport—Express reported.

It is noted that forwards Teig Thompson, Jason Zaker and Jiri Kulikh scored goals for HC Buffalo (scored a double).
