At least two people have died in a helicopter crash in Iran.
A helicopter of the Iranian Red Crescent Society crashed in Luristan province in the west of the country. This was reported on October 3 by the Tasnim news agency.
"According to preliminary reports, the helicopter of the Red Crescent Society, which was sent to the heights of Oshtrankoh in Luristan province to conduct a rescue operation, crashed this evening," said Ali Mohammadi, head of the Red Crescent region.
As specified in the organization's Telegram channel, at least two passengers of the aircraft have now died. There were nine people in the helicopter at the time of the crash.
On September 19, four U.S. Army soldiers were killed when an MH-60 Black Hawk helicopter crashed near Joint Base Lewis-McCord in Washington State. The incident occurred during a routine training mission west of the base.
Earlier, on September 14, it was reported that two pilots died while performing stunts on an airplane in Argentina. The cause of the incident has not been established. It was noted that the aircraft lost lift, as a result of which it fell onto the runway. On impact, it caught fire.
