A technical glitch has occurred in the Turkish payment system Letim

The reason for the blocking of the Letim payment system, which was encountered by Russian tourists in Turkey, was a technical glitch. The company's press service told Izvestia about this on October 3.

"The recent difficulties were related to a technical glitch in the application update. At the moment, all transactions from Letim have been successfully processed, and the application is working stably," the source explained.

The company clarified that in some cases, the delay may be due to transactions in banking systems, but all funds will be credited in the near future. If there are difficulties in the operation of the application, Letim recommended reinstalling it.

Earlier, the media reported that Russian tourists complained about the operation of the payment system. They claimed that they had been unable to top up their accounts or withdraw cash from ATMs for several days. Also, some Russians had problems trying to launch the application.

On August 18, the Starlink satellite communication system of the American company SpaceX experienced failures around the world. Complaints about the poor quality of the communication system were received from the USA, Canada, Great Britain, Germany, Mexico and other countries.
