"Today, the cost of owning a new Lada in the first three years of a car's operation is about 30% lower compared to foreign cars. In addition, AVTOVAZ currently has no plans or intentions to change its pricing policy," representatives of the automaker said.
The company noted that, according to independent research, in 2025, average prices for Lada are showing a downward trend.
In 2024, AvtoVAZ indexed car prices twice, and the average adjustment value was 4.3%, which is more than twice lower than the inflation figures.
Earlier, on September 29, car dealers said that a relatively short period of lower car prices in Russia was coming to an end, and the news of a possible increase in recycling from November 1 boosted sales. September was the first month of the year when importers relaxed their budgets for discounts, said Renat Tyukteev, Deputy General Director for New Car Sales at Avilon AG.
