The State Duma proposed to transfer empty apartments to the state

The State Duma (DG) proposed to seize empty residential premises and transfer them to the state. The package of documents has been included in the database of draft laws of the lower house of Parliament.

A group of senators, together with Deputy Alexander Yakubovsky, has developed a bill proposing to fix in the Housing Code the possibility of recognizing an apartment as empty if the owner does not fulfill his duties for its maintenance.
