The Russian Armed Forces destroyed 20 trucks with drones of the Armed Forces of Ukraine near Chernigov with an Iskander-M strike.

The Russian military, using the calculation of the Iskander-M tactical missile system and the Geran-2 drones, destroyed trucks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU), which transported long-range unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs). This was announced on October 1 by the Russian Defense Ministry.

A missile strike on the UAV launch site and trucks was carried out in the area of the village of Lava, located east of Chernigov. As a result of the attack, 20 trucks with 100 long-range drones of the Fierce type were destroyed, as well as 60 Ukrainian militants, including UAV operators and technicians.

"As a result of the impact, a massive fire occurred, which led to the detonation of the UAV. Attacks on trucks carrying UAVs of the Armed Forces of Ukraine continued while these vehicles were traveling along the highway. As a result of a direct hit by the Geran-2 UAV, five trucks with drones caught fire," the Defense Ministry added.

The Hero of Russia spoke about the combat path of his unit, which was completed without losses.

On September 25, it was reported that as a result of a strike on a training ground in the Chernihiv region, the Ukrainian Armed Forces lost up to 300 people. It is specified that the strikes were carried out by Iskander tactical missile systems at the Goncharovsky training ground.
