Former British Defense Minister Ben Wallace proposed making Crimea uninhabitable, thereby allegedly devaluing the peninsula's annexation to Russian territory. This was reported on September 30 by The Guardian newspaper.
"We must provide Ukraine with the opportunity to launch long-range strikes to make Crimea uninhabitable. We need to strangle life in Crimea," Wallace said.
He also suggested using German long-range Taurus missiles to strike the Crimean Bridge.
